Mitchell Brown is a professional bass player (fretted, fretless, acoustic, upright), harmony singer and producer. He has appeared on Grammy nominated albums and can play most any genre of music and can read and write Nashville Number System charts. Mitchell just finished producing the new CD Joni Harms, entitled Harms Way, will be released in late December 2011 and also new artist Olivia. You can hear those at: www.joniharms.com. On those projects I arranged and produced, played bass, fretted, fretless, acoustic and upright and sang harmony vocals. Mitchell has produced many artist including country music star Charlie Louvin. Charlie was one half of the legendary Louvin Brothers.
Mitchell enjoys producing, playing bass and singing with major label and independent label artists of today, yesterday and Grand Ole Opry members. He also enjoys touring and recording equally and tries to maintain a mix of both tour date dates and studio sessions.

Artists: Mitchell is currently on tour with Sugar Hill artist Joey+Rory (www.joeyandrory.com) as bass player, harmony singer, and bandleader. Other artists he has worked with are Grand Ole Opry member, Country Music Hall of Fame member, and Universal Records recording artist Charlie Louvin for almost 12 years. With Charlie he played bass, sang harmony, bandleader and record producer onCharlie’s final two projects. Charlie’s “live” CD which was released on July 20, 2010 and Mitchell also produced Charlie’s last studio CD released in early 2011. It is on the record label, True North. Mitchell has toured, played date(s) and/or recorded with artists such as Charlie Louvin, Joey and Rory, Joni Harms, Stonewall Jackson, Ernie Ashworth, Jean Shepard, Michelle Wright, Pam Tillis, Jean Shepard, Jim Ed Brown, Vern Gosdin, Jeannie Seely, Rhonda Vincent, Billy Joe Royal, Ronnie Stoneman, McKameys, Jeff Treece, Karen Peck and New River, George Jones, Jeff Tweedy, Bobby Bare, Tom T. Hall, Eef Barzalay, Elvis Costello, Alex McManus, Kurt Wagner, Tift Merritt, Joy Lynn White, Will Oldham, Paul Burch, Marty Stuart, Billy Walker and many others. Mitchell plays bass and sings on the Grand Ole Opry on a regular basis with several artists.
