Guitarist Tony Pulizzi has be seen by millions on the FOX #1 hit show AMERICAN IDOL.

Tony's career started in northern Ohio where he meshed his love for jazz and rock in a many different settings from sideman, session player, teacher, engineer, producer and bandleader, to solo performer and composer.

Tony has performed with Angela Bofill, David Garfield, Alex Ligertwood, Anthony Hamilton, Mike Keneally, Steve Ferrone, Vernon Reid, Lou Christie, Ernie Krivda, Clay Aiken, The Coasters, Frank McComb, Anne Cochran, Gerald Veasley, Marcus Johnson, Eric Marienthal, Kim Waters, Vesta Williams, Chuck Loeb, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Bryan Beller, Roger Smith and Alex Skolnick. He has also opened up for Allan Holdsworth, Earth Wind & Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Mike Stern, Wayman Tisdale, Three Dog Night, Gary Hoey, Kelly Richey, Marian Meadows, Huey Lewis and the News, Kirk Wahlum, Ohio Players, Joey Defrancesco, Beth Hart, Edwin McCain, and Bob Mintzer. Tony has recorded on countless other CDs by artists and co-wrote the song, 'Remembrance 9/11/01' with James Lloyd of Pieces of a Dream heard on their Heads Up CD release, 'Loves Silhouette'..

To date, Pulizzi has released three albums. The first, an original jazz-progressive rock project, 'Looking Back' with full band, an instrumental guitar trio CD 'The Blue Wrinkle', and a solo guitar album Pleasantview Place'.
